collages

These are a series of collages i made - taking discarded pieces of work from the print making room and adding a cut of my own prints. I also began adding text which creates an association or meaning to the collage. I loved using others discarded pieces as it gives the piece a history that i dont know. I then wanted to develop these further, i had been making collages with wood and rusted metal. therefore i brought these two ideas together to make a 'wood book' - a collage that opens.
